Please Don't Follow Me

I'm not a big fan of Google Friend Connect's "Follower" terminology. Please don't follow me. I am human and fail more times than I would like to admit. There are days when my patience wears thin, I lose my temper, I feed my kids frozen dinners, complain about minor things, and count minutes until bedtime.

I am flawed.

I will fail.

There is One, though, who will never fail you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. His hands created the depths of the oceans, the breadth of the galaxy, each fiery sunset, and each tiny baby thumbprint. He is the only one worthy of being followed. I am His follower alone.

I'm delighted when someone signs up to 'follow' my blog, but I may create a new button for that so that it doesn't say "Follow ". Instead, why don't we join together, side-by-side and follow Him together? Each of us have a different journey and different paths to walk as we follow Him, but we can learn from one another and strengthen each other as we walk together.
